The Scent Vault was born from a shared passion — and a little bit of magic — between husband-and-wife duo Janaab Sayyid Said Hamood Saud Al Said and Cynthia Jorge. What began as a personal love for rare, beautiful fragrances blossomed into a mission: to give people in Oman and across the GCC the opportunity to experience niche and designer perfume gems that are often difficult to access in our region.
Janaab Sayyid Said has been collecting fragrances for over 37 years, building an extraordinary appreciation for perfume craftsmanship long before The Scent Vault existed. Cynthia’s own passion for scent matched his — and together, they cultivated a collection that today includes over 1300+ niche, designer, exclusive, and hard-to-find perfumes, sourced with integrity and a deep respect for the art of perfumery.
As longtime collectors, we know the excitement of discovering a scent that feels unforgettable. With that spirit in mind, we created The Scent Vault to offer luxury perfumes in carefully prepared decants, allowing our community to explore, experience, and enjoy a wide variety of fragrances — from global bestsellers to rare international releases — before deciding on a full bottle.
From the start, The Scent Vault has been a family-run passion project. Even our daughters share our love for perfumes, and our home has always been filled with conversations about notes, bottles, and the stories behind every creation.
